DESCRIPTION:Dear Donor\,\n\n\n\nMy name is Mohamad Rizal. I’m 49 years old. In 2008\, a motorbike accident left me with a spinal cord injury at the C5 level. Overnight\, my life changed-from being independent to needing help with basic daily tasks such as bathing\, dressing\, toileting\, transferring\, and moving around.\n \n\nRehabilitation Session at HWA Whampoa with our Therapist\n \nI live with my 76-year-old mother. Since my father passed away in 2019\, she has been my pillar of strength\, caring for me tirelessly even as she grows older each day. I worry about what the future holds — what will happen when her health declines\, and how I will manage without her. Still\, I strive every day to maintain as much independence and dignity as I can\, for both of us.\n \nHWA has been a lifeline for us. Through their rehabilitation and transport services—provided free because of our circumstances—I can prevent further physical deterioration and remain as functional as possible. Without this support\, my quality of life would decline rapidly.\n \n\nTo keep these vital programmes running\, HWA is organising the 42nd Wheel\, Walk or Jog to raise funds and create awareness of our mission to serve the community. \n\nEvery dollar counts. Every act of kindness brings hope. Your contribution today can make a real difference—not just for me\, but for many others like me who depend on HWA’s care.\n\nThank you for being part of our community.
