DESCRIPTION:  \n \nFrequently Asked Questions \nWhat is fall risk?  \n\nFall Risk refers to the high possibility of a person falling down\, due to old age and medical condition.  \n\nAm I eligible for this programme?  \n\nIf you have any one of the below applicable\, you are eligible for the program.  \n a history of falling down in the last year \n have a diagnosis of stroke or Parkinsons \n have problems with maintaining your balance \n unable to rise unaided from a sitting position. \n\nHow much does it cost?  \n\n12 Group Sessions -160.50 \n12 Personal Sessions – $770.40 \nMembers of HWA receive 10% discount \n\nWho will be running this programme and where will it take place?  \n\nThe program will be run by our certified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. The Program will be held at HWA Rehabilitation Centre located at 16 Whampoa Drive\, Singapore 327725 \n\nHow long will the whole programme take?  \n\nThere will be an initial assessment  \nThe whole programme will take a total of 12 sessions spread out over 6 weeks with 2 sessions each week every Tuesday and Thursday. Officiated by our Guest-of-Honor Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim\, Senior Parliamentary Secretary\, Ministry of Social & Family Development. \nThe main event\, which will include a family carnival commencing at 11am\, will be attended by donors\, supporters\, and well-wishers\, along with students and HWA members (who are people with disabilities). \nIn the evening\, the beneficiaries\, corporate volunteers\, students and members of the public will be walking or jogging with HWA wheelchair-bound members to travel along a scenic route not more than 3.5km \n  \nAQUILA our official sponsor of bottled water for the Wheel\, Walk or Jog and Family Carnival 2019 \n

DESCRIPTION:Dear HWA Members\, \nFree Talks on SNTC Services (SNTC Trust and SNSS) & Financial Education Workshop \nSpecial Needs Trust Company (SNTC) is the only non-profit trust company in Singapore for the special needs community. They are supported by Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and the trust fund is managed by the Public Trustee’s Office under Ministry of Law. \nThe Institute of Financial Literacy (IFL) is a collaboration between MoneySENSE\, the national financial education programme\, and Singapore Polytechnic. IFL provides reliable and unbiased financial education programmes to the public free of charge. \nSNTC and IFL would like to conduct free talks in HWA for families live with their loved one who needs special care.
