Empowering Support for Persons with Disabilities

HWA (Handicaps Welfare Association) provides a wide range of programmes and services for persons with physical disabilities (PWDs) in the community, ranging from welfare assistance to social integration to driving instruction for PWDs to dedicated transportation services. It also runs two Rehabilitation Centres (Whampoa & Jurong Point), and loans out mobility / assistive aids to members as well as the public.

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, HWA is progressively adopting more eco-friendly ways of communicating with our members by using electronic channels such as SMS, WhatsApp and email instead of printed circulars.
