Your Continuous Support Brings Strength and Hope! – HWA Flag Day 2025

My name is Hasidah, and I am 66 years old — a mother of five. Many of you may remember my story from last year’s appeal. I shared how I’ve been caring for my daughter, Zurah, who became bedridden after a stroke in 2014, and my eldest son who has an intellectual disability.
A year has passed, and I wanted to share how your support has continued to make a difference for us. Thanks to HWA’s Personal Home Care Services,
Zurah receives regular showering care three times a week, which has helped to maintain her condition and overall well-being. These visits by HWA’s healthcare attendant ensure that Zurah’s hygiene and comfort are well taken care of. For me, this support has been invaluable as it is more than physical relief; this is a peace of mind and a moment to breathe, knowing that she is in good hands.
We are just one of many families who rely on HWA’s vital services. Behind each closed door is a story like ours — of hardship, resilience, and hope made possible by supporters like you.
